My First Blog Post !

So . . Wow, the journey begins
My 1st ever blog, and why ? Quite simply I want to build a business online and I want to help others do the same.
Let me explain my short story. 12 months ago I realised finally that if you want to be successful you are going to have to work for it, Hell yeah you will ! My name is Dean Holland and I am 24 years old and I’ve spent far too many years waiting for the cash to find me, guess what … Yep, it ain’t happened.
My online earnigs to date: $0 . . This is where it starts
So now Im going after the success with passion and determination, and I know im going to acheive it. There you go, I’ve declared it live online that I will be an online success.
So let me set my first goal- To acheive $1 earnings online.
Let me tell you, after 12 months of learning online skills but getting nowhere I needed a kick up the backside. And the last 3 days gave it me good. I attended a seminar in London UK as a VIP guest of Alex Jeffrey’s, If you dont know this guy go google him right now ! Alex I want to personally thankyou, you are passionate to the heart about what you do and extremely inspirational. After meeting you and soon to be moving forward with you I know my life really is gunna change. Cheers buddy !
Im going to document my journey on this blog, I hope many people will follow my steps and acheive your goals also.
OMG ! I have just had a mad great thought pop into my mind whilst typing this, what a magic idea. Look honestly, come visit my blog again soon. I need to go away and put this plan into action, you are going to benefit from it. Probably a lot more than you think. Cant believe how that just happened, crazy !

talk about taken action bro,
most people wouldn’t have even got there blog set up in a day – let alone write there first post,
and come accross there first a-ha moment in one day,
Dean – im proud that you have made a statement online that you have made $0 and you are aiming for $1 first,
let me tell you dude – working with me im going to make sure to get you out of your day job asap
and make you a whole lot more than $1.
well done – this is early days for you and i KNOW you are going to make me proud,
so you think meeting me as a V.I.P Guest was worth it then huh,

For anyone following my journey, let me tell you where im currently at. So I got this blog started right, now Im looking around and see that you really need to brand yourself online and come out with some kind of uniqueness. So I want to get a custom header done for this blog, doing some research I have made my way to http://www.Elance.com and am about to post my requirements on there.

oh, one quickie Dean, I’d recommend changing your permalinks structure to a more SEO friendly one.
there’s a video for it on BlogTactics on the videos page and grab the “Deans Permalinks Migration” pluging from the plugins page.

Well done on starting your new blog.
I too have been someone who has collected and readed numerous ebooks but needed a kick up the butt to get me going.
It has taken me 4 long years to realise where the money making is – sad ain’t it….
Anyway it is thanks to Matt’s BlogTactics and buying the WordPress Unleashed Videos and quite recently buying the Blogging To The Bank has got me going and I have now made my own blog
We all have to start somewhere and it’s damn hard to get going.
It’s almost a nervous feeling of what do I do and what’s going to be the result. Am I going to succeed or fail miserably?
But hey what the hell don’t get up off your butt you will never know.
I have already bookmarked your blog – so keep up the good work and will be following you all the way.

We are sold the ‘Internet lifestyle dream’ and its takes us all different lengths of time to realise what it actually takes to make money online.
But hey… We are here now so lets do it !!

Congratulations on your success so far. I had my aha moment about 5 years ago but dragged my arse in getting started.
I was just saying to my other half tonight – if I knew 5 years ago what I know now and had put it all into action, I’d be rich.
Action is a keyword here. Anyone can read the books, watch the DVDs and listen to the audios but unless action follows then its a complete waste of time and money.
Heck I’ve got a cupboard full of licensed audio and DVD products that are probably outdated by now and yet I’ve seen guys with the same products who are making thousands each month now.
All because they took more action than I did.
Yeah I’m making money now but the US and one particular UK gurus sold me the dream and even now I feel it’s almost like an addiction where I get twitchy fingers every time the ‘next best thing’ is released.
Still I’ve picked up valuable information along the way. I can do my own website designs and graphics which I couldn’t do 5 years ago – and I enjoy what I do – it gives me focus -so it hasn’t been a total loss.
Luckily there are still diamonds out there and Alex J is one of them

Well done, to get going with your blog; I like the colouring, and the graphics. After 5 years I still haven’t got a blog, so you have given me another kick!!
I have invested in many businesses, but have never made any serious money. I am with Online Business Alliance at present, and just made another $5 sale today- great feeling??
I have joined Alex’s Coaching Program, and looking forward to great things. I am 70 years old next year, and very determined to SUCCEED!!

So another day is here… How exciting !
It’s hard to believe this blog was started just 4 weeks back, Im loving you people !
We are all moving so fast, for all those that have joined me in alex Jeffrey’s coaching things are going to move even faster as of next week !
Im just so please to have a place on that coaching, it feels like Im already successful and thats before its started…. lol
But seriously, im just kidding… Im not successful at all YET !

I’ve been marketing for quite a few years and know just about all the gurus.
I’ve decided to create a proper business system for 2009 cause i tend
to jump from one biz opp to the next.
I currently own a blog, 2 traffic exchanges, 1 startpage exchange, and about
40 parked domains packed with articles at whypark.com
My goal is to take my income from $200 per month to at least $5000 per month
by the end of 2009.
SO maybe i’ll follow you and Alex’s lead and start my own blog to document
my journey.
I have many strengths the best being that i can pretty much clone and kind
of website because i’ve been coding for like 10 years.
my main goals for 2009 will be networking with other marketers and building
a huge team of affiliates.
the oil rig example really makes it clear what i need to do next

I am here fro inspiration. I just finished module 3 and Alex says to read your blog.
So…I am going to read the entire blog and all the comments, and then it’s off to buy a new domain name. I have had some minor success online, but have never figured out how to build a list.
I actually found Alex’s blog by doing a search on “how to build an email list”, or something close to that. Like you say, “The journey begins”.
I am just going to follow instructions and make it happen.

Just trawled all the way down here and read most of the comments on the way so here I am making this comment as a thankyou for stopping me in my tracks and also probably from just “flopping around online” for another few years ?
I had actually made up my mind at few months ago to finally get a grip on this “internet thing” as my wife calls it and prove to her that it will be worthwhile financially and not is just a weird reason to ignore her endlessly tapping away at my pc until the early hours of most days of the week !
Having read the replies above there are a few people that have just started out and they are perhaps very lucky (although they might not realise it yet) to have found this blog early on their internet journey.
Like Mary (above ?) it’s been years for me too online (about ’96 !) and although I have a few blogs, a couple of websites and money in my Clickbank and Paypal accounts so I am not starting from $0 but having said that I now need to get serious and you have spurred me on !
So, I’ve bought into the TTS and I will be USING it !!!
I’ve probably got tons of stuff from way back that’s bought and paid for and never used but your stuff will be so here’s to our (joint) successs as I’ll be doing all I can to promote your stuff and make both of us some serious cash
Also I’m not too far away from you being in the South East UK so maybe we will meet up at some point for a beer or ten ? LOL

Hey Dean, I’ve read this post a few times, and I’m finally leaving a comment.
Hearing about your success, and then going back and looking at this post…it’s incredible and truly inspirational. I just love the way you set a goal, confessed that you would achieve it, and told people to come along for the ride all at once.
BAM! Now that’s accountability! and If one was ever worried about being accountable, then a post like this would keep them right on track.
