Catchy name my friend. There are some great domain names appearing from fellow students.
Anyone trying to get a listbuilding domain after this are going to find it difficult to grab a great one

I have just set up a split testing system to test a few elements of the landing page –
should be interesting to see which one converts best !

Yeah, it’s hard work knowing how to split your time and get the balance right.
I managed to get my PPP the day Alex released it to us but with my problems last week haven’t started to promote it until now.
Unbelievable the number of people who are accessing my video since I put it up yesterday.
Better, still though I’ve just posted up the KILLER POST I was talking about yesterday. This is gonna really rock and be a great plus for all students. Totally free of course as well
Anyway check out my latest free deal … and it’s not just one thing as well. Really excited about all this and I know you all will be too. It’s a must have for not just students but all the other ‘peeps’ as well

Hi Dean!
Well done on getting your PPP sorted. I got my problem sorted in the end with the help of some more lovely Alex students. I’ve got to say I am a bit dissapointed in Alex support desk. I still haven’t had any help from the ticket I submitted on Thursday, luckily for you wonderful guys I don’t need their help anymore.
Filezilla is definatley a force to be reconed with, I called my post on the experience- Platforms and Dragons-the battle has begun!! Coz it was certainly a battle for me.
Anyway we are ready and raring to start the next step with Alex.

I didn’t have too much trouble ftp’ing Alex’s website but I did have a lot of trouble with AWeber – it seems that my website for Alex’s book

and when I was testing my page and sign-up form I don’t know if I made a mistake with the url but I signed up to the latter belonging to Mark Austin!
Plus, I don’t know if anyone else had trouble with this – Alex said once someone signs up for the free ebook re-direct them to the sales page. But with AWeber you have to get permission to send emails to someone who signs up. So what is happening now is that someone signs up for the free ebook. They are immediately re-directed to the sales page and then, later, they get an email to confirm that they want to sign up! That is odd. Or am I the only one who thinks this?
Normally, I would
1. Get sign-ups for the free ebook
2. Aweber sends them a confirmation email
3. They click the link in the confirmation email
4. They then receive another instant email (via Aweber) from me giving the download link (which is also the sales page)

The fact is you can still make that sale but hopefully they will also confirm to being on your list also
You could always include the sales page url in a follow-up message if they do confirm

Thanks for attending to that so quickly. I got a bit of a shock when I saw it and I tested it and the link went straight through.
I’d have preferred to do this privately coz I know that Nadeem is a brother and wouldn’t have done anything like that for ANY reason other than to be helpful.
We ALL slip up occasionally and this is a good reminder about CONFIDENTIALITY in general. And a good reminder to keep our eyes and ears open and cover for each other – just like the “300″ that I mentioned in one of my threads.
Maybe we need to get some sort of general broadcast out about such things. Parkesy, get it up the top of your new e-journal/periodical/whatever. There Gazza I plugged it again – LOL! As if I didn’t push it to death over on my blog for you! Sheesh.
Anyway, all fixed now and no harm done.

Hi Dean, had a few moments myself in the set up process. In the end deleted the whole site and uploaded again and then it worked! May have been a file corruption somewhere but hey its there.
Only thing I could do with testing is the actual post sale download. Works fine up to the paypay payment page.
