Hey peeps !!

I’m just going to briefly touch on this so you know the reason. As you may have noticed I have been a little silent lately but there is good reason. I have had some BAD stuff happen in my personal life over the last week and am now living back at my mother’s house except I haven’t even got a computer there !

Just now I have managed to borrow a laptop for a while to enable me to continue with my business

First off I want to let you know something in case you’re thinking that it’s only you that feels this way. So what am I talking about, and what did I nearly lose ??

I’m guessing from things I have read and seen that most if not all people have or will experience a lack of focus at some point in their quest to build a successful online business, but its what you do to regain that focus and passion that matters !

Ok so if you have been following me you will know that in the 4 or so months of running my blog things have gone very well for me. So much so that I thought I finally knew how to make money online and yes to a certain level I do …. Well something just happened… Something BIG !!

Just recently I have done quite a lot of blog hopping around the blogs of fellow students of Alex Jeffrey’s coaching course. To my disappointment it seems a LOT have lost their passion for success. The drive that I could sense only weeks ago just doesn’t seem to be there, many have not even posted to their blogs for many weeks !!

Ok, Im gunna dive straight into this one as I feel it is an important topic and one that I am very interested to hear from you about. I touched on this issue slightly yesterday over at Garry Parke’s blog and the reaction was.. Shall we say .. Misunderstood !!

I will admit throughout January I found it a little hard to get motivated, I was almost feeling like I was aiming without a target. Yes I was busy with my blog redesign which was stressful to me as I didnt want to do anything wrong but what else was I doing ??!! My honest answer … Not a lot !

So I wanted to tell you how to simply upgrade your blog to the latest version of WordPress… 2.7

STOP HERE FIRST

Before you follow these steps to upgrade your blog I recommend you download a backup file of your blog as it is now. This will just protect all your hard work in the unlikely chance that something goes wrong, that way you will still have all your posts and comments saved.

After what I hope was a successful blog re-launch I went through all your great comments and advice. It seemed you like the new look but there was one main thing that bugged everyone… Those darn flashing ads in the left column !!

So.. Off they went, never to be seen again !!! I tell you what after you pointed then out I found them eye catching myself ( For all the wrong reasons !! ) So thanks for that, I think after spending SO many hours that morning setting this place up I failed to realise how annoying they were

I have some tweaks and touches yet to do so it is still a work in progress but the major work is done.

Well as you can see there certainly are a few changes !

So we have the new theme – ‘Flexx’
You see the custom header … With a SPECIAL thanks for this to Steve at www.Planet-Divinity.com for this !! I tell you this guy not only turns out great work but has the artistic mind to throw ideas around that I couldnt think of !! If your after any graphics work I personally recommend there services.. ( Rather cheap too ! )
Now opted for a 3 column layout, although if you check out the theme this can be changed if I choose to.

Well Im sat at my desk about to start tearing into my blog !!

And then I realised.. “Hang on, I gotta remember wher it all started”

My first post was on October 20th 2008 … What a journey it has been, the ups.. the downs…but most importantly the AMAZING support from you!!
