“Believe & Achieve” has been my motto for years. I think we can all relate to the family members who ridicule you for wanting to build something to get you out of a job you hate. How many have heard “At least you have health insurance”? P-L-E-A-S-E !!! I’ve started to see some success with two of my sites and am looking to ramp it up. Keep the videos coming. I’m sure they will be helpful to lots of people looking to build a solid foundation for themselves.

This is an EXCELLENT video with mesmerising, hypnotising, inspiring and motivational content.
Such good quality for someone who has only recently broke into the zone where many aspiring marketers wish to go to.
i.e. earning a decent living and profit online.
Talk about law of Attraction, well I think that you will have no problem attracting and retaining your visitors, providing you keep on giving them quality and timely information – which I know you will.
I think that much of what you have said in your video will resonate entirely with your readers, and truly help them all to believe to achieve.
Too many people online are stuck in a spiral of
ready, aim, fire,
and I honestly believe YOU will be able to change that mindset to
ready, fire, aim.
This success mindset will help everyone achieve their realistic goals much quicker.
Your blog is becoming a real honey pot for comments.
Here is a quick idea for you…….
In a few weeks time, why don’t you ask all your regular viewers to retweet some sort of message for a special webinar, and get the word out virally about this new kid who is sharing such valuable information for free.
However, 3 things will happen as a result of such action:
1). you will undoubtedly attract more followers / subscribers.
2). your ratings will increase exponentially, soon to feature on Gurudac
3). your existing subscribers will perhaps be jealous initially of you sharing this with so many potential competitors, until they realise that the internet is huge, and that really what they are getting here is simply top quality information for no cost, whereas others are paying $xxx’s or perhaps even $x,xxx’s for the same information.
Well that’s my tuppence worth for today.

Dean - I have a soft spot for construction workers as I have been one for 41 years. However I’m running out of gas. For the last year I have been researching online business. With a daughter leaving or college in a month and possible retirement looming in the next few years, it becomes clear I need to supplement my income.
I belong to and follow several blogs, mostly older marketers. I find your approach refreshing and hope to learn alot from you.

A lot of mailing lists and useless newsletters to unsubscribe from Starting now. Information overload is a reality so the first step is to concentrate on what will really drive things forward.

Dean, I’m in precisely that very same position you are talking about. I’ve got a lot of information in my hands but no idea of where to get started. Analysis Paralysis, for sure. And yes, I’m very skeptical about IM and I’ve got many many doubts about pursuing my goals online.
The impression I’ve been getting is that the only way to make money online is to sell “stuff” to other people who want to learn how to make money online. While there is nothing inherently wrong with that, I want to achieve success in other niches.
I’ve heard it can be done, but I’m not “seeing” it yet. I don’t have that master plan in place and if you can get me jumpstarted on doing that, I’d be very thankful.
Yeah, it would be very cool to do the same - achieve success and then give back and show others how it’s done. Like many, I’d love to see myself in those shoes!

That was a great inspiring video. Thank you! I am fairly new to blogging. I started about a month ago. I had tried before, but well got frustrated like you said and felt overwhelmed and just stopped. Well I started up again about a month ago with a whole new additude. I truly believe I can succeed online if I put my heart and soul into it it. And that is what I am trying to do. I really want to succeed to be able to provide my family with a better life. It would give me such great joy to be able to work from home and to be my own boss and have my own business. That would be my ultimate goal. You are making me really believe I can do it. I truly look foward to your videos.

Hey Dean. I’m at where you were. $50,000 in debt. Been trying to get things going for 2 years. Got to the point where I felt I must have been an idiot, because all these “gurus” keep telling us how easy it is if you buy their product. Well I bought them and am still struggling. In fact at one stage I’d decided that internet marketing was only for gurus and we were their fodder. Any help would be most appreciated.

Dean: Great video–as one of your Starting With Marketing I students, the content and quality of the course is already so valuable to me that I am seriously hoping you offer an affiliate program so I can get others signed up for SWM 2. The under $200 price is ridiculously low though! I would consider raising it to at least $500 for the 6 week program. Very much worth it and I already know I will be making more money online with your help.

I just wanted to take a moment and tell you what a grand jester it is for you to give back to the community. I know many people new to the industry are just so confused and overwhelmed from the land slide of incomplete information that is received from the so called gurus, that it makes success seem to be something that is achieved by others.
I have always thought if someone would take the time and teach all of the puzzle, the success testimonials for newbies would skyrocket. I will look forward to the training.

I’m going to become a regular reader of your blog. I’m recovering from a major stroke, a little over a year ago. Now I’m totally dependent on my wife for our income, which doesn’t feel good. I want to take care of my family, and my wife. But I haven’t been able to work since the stroke. If I can get started in affiliate marketing I’m sure I can eventually earn enough to support the family. I’m a former magazine editor and photographer, so I should still have some writing skille.

I picked up on Alex over a year ago, and whilst following his progress, I came across you of course. Boy have you come a long way, your confidence in yourself and the ability of others is uplifting to say the least.
Ive been trying to earn just a basic living online for 18 months and have started all sorts of things, never to a successful conclusion.
Bring it on Dean, Ill be following every step, I KNOW it can be done, I just need to know HOW to do it, and have my hand held a little along the way.
Keep it up and thanks for what you are giving back.

Hi- Great video - its Inspiring to see how far you have come . I am in your position now starting up. Have spent a lot of money and not getting anywhere fast. I am now with Alex Jeffreys who you recommended and slowly getting there . Its a bit of a struggle not knowing a lot and trying to understand everything.
I know I will suceed and am working hard at it.

Hello Dean,
I feel you should be made a Saint for doing this for FREE! I became disabled at age 38 due to an genetically inherited trait. I got into contact with my local State Vocational Rehabilitation counselor in early 2008. With the state’s and the Federal government’s financial help, I started online college working toward a degree and certification in Web Design. I am supposed to resume studies Aug. 31, but if they don’t come through with the funding, (you know about our economy) I feel like I still need to make my own income now. I’m on Social Security Disability income now, but I did give my counselor my “Ticket to Work,” when I started this. I’m committed, if possible, so I need to make it, with or without the Web Design degree. Thanks, B.P.King

You began my journey several months ago when you introduced me to Alex Jeffery’s coaching programme.
And after coming back from holiday about three weeks ago began building my blog.
One of my posts says I hope when I’m successful I can carry on the work of Alex and Dean of teaching MY students.
This is exactly what you’re doing now and more power to you.

Dean, My off line story starts here: http://tinyurl.com/cle76u and everything I set out to do online is a reflection of what we/I were able to achieve in our married life. I set my goals online towards helping others, that is my primary and only goal but I am also carrying my late wife’s legacy with me. Sylvia achieved a great deal within the scope of her life and for most of it, she never received even a ‘thank-you’.
So I set out more than three years ago to see what I could learn, share and give back as a testimony of my strength & endurance. I never anticipated the loss of my soul mate and I grew weaker because of it.
If miracles really do exist, I sprung to my feet and soon began corresponding to others who felt the same grief.
Since losing my wife in June of 2008 I have regained myself believing that I can succeed online only to the point of donating the majority of any sales I make or commissions to charity. It is an unselfish attitude but it also reflects on what goals have already been proven.
In summary, Dean I actually do need to put my hand up now and ask someone to help me. It’s the hardest thing to ask for when you’ve never quite had to ask before. Thank You and “Congratulations” to Alex’s wedding, I’m going back to read everything on his page right now…cheers.

Wow! I never heard of you until today? when I stumbled upon you quite by accident.
Is this for real? FREE help? I could sure use some!
I was a Forensic Medical Practitioner with Hampshre Constabulary, then I had an accident 2 years ago, which ended my career & deemed me unfit to go out to work!
I have tried for the last 10 months to generate an online income, spent a fortune (which I don’t have)! & not earned a bean.
I have 2 websites, both hosted & advertised all over the place! I advertise endless affiliate products, I blog, I do article marketing, PPC, social bookmarking, traffic exchanges, free ads, & everything else possible! Wy am I earning NOTHING?
